What's New, August 2026

What did I even do this month? Oh! I remember.

At the beginning of the month, I traveled with Slam Euphoria to a regional competition in Cambridge, MA. We had a great time schmoozing with poets from other scenes. Here we are the first night, in our cute boutfits...

Fitted all the way up.

We've had two shows since we got back and have been scheming about the next team selection season, which will start in October if you're in the capital region.

Other than that, I've been hacking away more at the Dataleak site. I want it to be stable-ish before I upload my next album. It's still in beta! Don't rush me. I chipped away another couple of chapters from A People's History of the United States and got about halfway through Teaching to Transgress x bell hooks (which is slightly better bar reading). I also listened to most of the stack of vinyl I got last month. Time to go digging again. This one was the standout...

Somewhere between Afropop and progrock.

Oh also this month I photographed a rainbow outside the Mothership.

Apropos of nothing but the rain. Back soon with more ✌🏼
