What's New, September 2024

Hello! Again! Spent September running around a lot, but I also got a lot done.

First of all, I wrapped up production on my next EP, Disconnected.

The tracks are mostly reworked versions of songs from 2021's Eternalist. But there are definitely new bars, too 👀 Coming to a streaming service near you October 8!

Also this month, I got my contributor copy of Jelly Bucket issue #14, which contains an essay I wrote about depictions of suicide in BoJack Horseman. That essay will probably make it's way to the Zeen at some point; right now it's only available in print.

I popped up at Vox Pop 2024 to read some poems!

This month I also finally finished Pedagogy of the Oppressed. My copy is well-worn, but my brain is full of theory! I also got through Refused a Second Date by Maya Williams—poetry about finding love. Now I'm working my way through Calculus for the Practical Man by J.E. Thompson. I took several years of calculus when I was younger, but its utility never really stuck. The mechanics are coming back to me pretty quickly, but it is a literal textbook. I'll probably interrupt it at some point for a little more fiction.

Thanks as always for rocking with me. More soon!
