What's New, September 2026

The time has come! We rolling out. The first tracks from my next album, Semihuman, are queued up to go live on Dataleak October 6. Here's your first look at the cover art.

The first two songs are called Before We Begin and Zain Brraps. They're about how performance and mental illness intersect in my life. They also serve as a wonderful introduction to the weirdo crossover jazz-rap style of the album. And! They'll be free to stream for the first month.

I also recorded a couple podcast appearances this month to talk up the album. This one and this one:

On a less commercial note, I hosted another installment of Slam Euphoria. I read a few more chapters of Teaching to Transgress x bell hooks. I also started and finished A Libertarian Walks into a Bear x Matthew Hongoltz-Hetling (pop investigative journalism about New England townies and bears). A People's History of the United States I think is my new long-term reading project...

I also got myself a CD turntable to make me feel Cool™️ as I listen to my CD collection.

I listened to Supernatural x Santana and some niche piano compositions that a poet friend donated to the Mothership's library. Goals!
