What's New, February 2025

Hello! Coming in under the wire with updates for February.

First of all, I dropped my first new music of the year! More Than Anything (feat. Krystal Arvelo) is now available for streaming and digital download.

It has come to my attention that the embedded music players I've been including don't actually render in the emails, so instead I'll direct you to Spotify or your favorite streaming service to hear it.

I've also been doing February Album Writing Month, an annual challenge to write 14 songs in 28 days. This year I endeavored to write 14 16-bar verses. As of right now I'm a couple of days behind 🙃 But I still think I'll pull it off. I've been documenting my progress on Instagram.

To that effect, Haze and I will be hopping on Instagram Live tonight to talk shop, write some new bars, and preview some upcoming projects. If you're around at 8PM ET come hang out with us.

Been keeping up with my art goals. This month I read Notes of a Native Son by James Baldwin (a book of essays), listened to New Blue Sun by Andre 3000 (an experimental improv jazz album. And on vinyl!), and watched The Menu (a thriller about a murderous chef who kidnaps a room full of diners).
