What's New, January 2025

Hello! I'm back to work as this year gears up. Art has been managing to keep my mind off the like, y'know, errrr... end of days.

This year's first Dataleak music release is scheduled for January 7!

More Than Anything is a melodramatic love song. I wrote, composed, and produced it, but contributed no vocals. I'm trying to up my producer game 🙃 Krystal's voice is incredible and I can't wait for you to hear the record!

Since it's January, it's time for me to double down on my reading habits. I plan to read a book per month again this year. But I also want to extend this goal to an album and a film per month! So this month I read Twelve Angry Men x Reginald Rose (which is going up soon at my local playhouse), watched the new Wicked adaptation (never saw the stageplay so it gave a lot more context to the soundtrack), and listened to Come Away with Me x Norah Jones (which is vibey but was the wrong choice for a long drive).

This month we also wrapped up production on the short film we shot last year. Next up is hitting the film festival circuit to find it a place to premiere. As always, I've got a lot of projects in a lot of different states of development. This promises to be a very full year, if the centre can hold.
