What's New, May 2025

Hello!

First of all, I'd like to invite you to see the premiere of New Treasure, the short film I just finished producing. It was accepted to the Roxbury International Film Festival and will premiere on June 20 at the MFA in Boston. I'll definitely be there jittering with excitement. Tickets available now!

May has been a very creative month for me. The play I was in ran the first weekend of the month to some good reviews. I then found myself with a bunch of free time and poured it into writing and playing music. Wrote some lyrics; went back and forth with mix engineers over upcoming records. I got the majority of a new play on paper. Spent some time writing with Ashlee Haze and scheming on some future collaborations.

Meanwhile, all of this year's previous releases are still hanging out. If you haven't yet, listen to my new poetry album and/or Strawberry Blunt and/or More Than Anything.

May also marks the releaseaversary for Savant, the rap album I dropped last year. Still on your favorite streaming service!

My media goals also progressed! This month I watched One of Them Days and Sinners. Also I went to see the re-release of Revenge of the Sith, but that doesn't count toward my goal (5/12 films). I listened to SOS by SZA in advance of going to the Grand National concert on the 12 (4/12 albums). An album, a movie, and a concert; it was a very SZA-heavy month. My book this month was Poststructuralism by Catherine Belsey, a primer on modern epistemology. Should finish it up before the month ends (5/12 books).

Finally, here are some tweets I made this month. I've been thinking about divesting from social media again (that didn't take long) so I'll need someplace for my assorted witticisms and wisdoms. Bequeathed!

Thanks for rocking with me ✌🏼
