Hello one last time on this side of the new year! Just a little update on what I've been up to and what to expect in 2024...
This month I performed in a play! It was a really quick local production of It's a Wonderful Life. And I do mean really quick. Our first rehearsal was on December 1, our first show was on December 15, and our last show was on December 17.
The show's conceit was that it was a live-performed radio broadcast, so I got to flex my voice acting skills—including a couple of scenes talking to myself 😅
Other than that, I've been spending the month prepping for next year. I've been recording and mixing new music and prepping releases and outlining goals. Last year around this time I was on a writing retreat with Haze, where we started conceptualizing DATALEAK multi. Our first year went by fast but was eventful. We dropped our first two compilations! 2024 is gearing up to be even better. Keep an eye out for DATALEAK iii soon.
I'm also planning to step my reading back up next year. In 2021 I finished a book per month; I'm gonna try to repeat that this year so also keep your eye out for my reviews! First up will be Debt: The First 5000 Years x David Graeber. I'm two chapters in and already loving it.
